Johan Bos Interning @ Ballistic Arts
On March 19th, I got in my car and drove away from the downtown core where most of my peers are doing their internships at companies located in the area. That morning we had snow and I had to get my truck into 4 wheel drive to get to Ballistic Arts safely in Burnaby.
Ballistic Arts is a full-service creative agency with departments in graphic design, website development, video production and photography. They are different in the way they refer to their studio
Sarah Mansour Interning @ Tidal Interactive
I started my internship at Tidal Interactive two weeks ago. Tidal is a development company that specializes in Drupal CMS and have created websites for the City of Vancouver, White Spot and Arts Umbrella, and many other local and international businesses. Their work includes corporate websites, intranets, user-based communities, ecommerce platforms, and web applications.

Kristof’s Internship Introduction @ Dash 2 Digital Systems
I have come to the end of my first week of my new internship at Dash 2 Digital Systems, and I can say that so far it has been a very new and exciting experience. Dash2 is a Vancouver based software solutions company that provides freelance web development on mobile apps & websites, facebook integration, and much more. I was brought on as a UX Designer, giving me the opportunity to put my design skills to good use.
The first week – having come to an end – has been quite an experience; fun & thrilling and also a bit challenging at times. The experience hasn’t been terribly different from that of the classroom in terms the workflow and collaboration. The big difference is that it’s (more…)
Ryota @ FCV Technologies
For last three weeks (I started 1 week before everyone else did), I’ve had opportunity to work as User Interface developer at FCV technologies as my 6 weeks (7 weeks for me) internship, and so far it’s been fantastic experience for me!
FCV Technologies is an award winning full service interactive agency specializing in CMS such as Sitecore and Drupal for clients including Translink, Canadian Tourism Commissions, RBC, Scotia Bank.
To compliment their work, FCV has won 2011 Sitecore Site of the Year (they just announced 3rd week of March 2012) for Best Web Application of the Year category with Translink’s travelsmart.ca website.
