Toys - so amusing, so musical, so fun
Just caught a performance of Pascal Ayerbe at the Children’s Festivalin Vancouver’s Vanier Park. This trio from France along with their tech put on an amazing show using an amusing assortment of musical toys, kitchen utensils, musical instruments and other sonic objects. The group connects with kids and adults alike; there is something for everyone. While the sonics are truly a treat, there is an underlying layer of musicality in the performance that goes far beyond just neat sounds.
